Self-cleaning glass

Applying a photocoatalytic nanometer layer on the glass surface by online CVD technology makes self-cleaning glass. High transmittance and solar shielding. The layer keeps the glass clean by using the ultraviolet rays and flushing of the water.

By using the solar energy and flushing water, the glass gets clean automatically and cleaning cost saved.

The active O₂- and OH have anti-bacteria function after actived by ultraviolet rays.

The nanometer layer of self-cleaning glass is durable and its shelf life likes the same as regular glass. The film itself is non-consumable. In the photocatalytic action, the film is only used as catalyst to transfer the light energy to chemical energy; the properties of film won’t degrade over time.

Building curtain walls, skylights, overpass roof, protection hood for solar cells, circumstance need to kill bacteria such as hospital and food industry, automobile side window and rearview mirrors. Better energy saving may be achieve by using together with Low-E series glass.
